The California Sprinter (W1): Our prototype for your future.

Our first step to the W2 was a motorhome and sportscar of top class.

Experience makes the future suitable for daily use: We built the extraordinary camper for a californian client on the chassis of a Mercedes Sprinter. Samuel Weishaupt and his team developed and constructed the sportive camper in the course of two years. The multifunctional vehicle for expeditions and family trips served as a prototype for the design and development of the W2.

Benno Mobil (Chevy)

Task
Striking sales vehicle for Benno Bikes
Solution
An old Chevrolet camper van served as the basis for the vehicle. The entire motorhome body was removed. The cab was extended a little to the rear and fitted with a rear bench seat for 3 additional seats. A loading area with side walls and various fastening possibilities serves as stowage and transport space. The vehicle is registered as a delivery van, with the active help and support of the MFK Appenzell.

Dive mobile

Task
Conversion of a VW Bus T5 for multifunctional use
Solution
The customer's requirement was to convert the VW bus so that it could be used as a camper but also as an office. However, the main goal of the interior fittings was to optimally stow the diving equipment in the rear or under the bed in order to utilise as much space as possible.

Mini Camper Mobil

Task
Fit out of a Mini Cooper S
Solution
The customer wanted a weekend trip option with her vehicle, a Mini Cooper S. No sooner said than done. The rear seat bench was removed from the vehicle. With exact measurements of the interior and the following construction on CAD, a conversion in the form of steel and wood was realised. The aim was to create a sleeping area, a pull-out drawer with cooking facilities and storage space for various utensils, as well as a passive cool box.

Trailer for Biotta

Solution

Biotta stands for health, nature and Swiss quality. That's why it was important for them to work with a Swiss company.

They needed a mobile sales counter that could be used at trade fairs and exhibitions. The customer came to us without a concrete idea of what the whole thing should look like, which is why we were able to accompany them through the project from A to Z. In other words, from the first consultation meetings to the final design. In other words, we were on board from the first consultations and ideas to the development of the concept.

The result is a trailer that can accommodate around 350 bottles of the healthy juices. There are also 2 refrigerators and a storage area. The vehicle is rounded off with adjustable feet, a removable drawbar and practical transport options. This makes visits to the fair even more fun.

Wheelchair repair

A family friend approached us with a very important request for him. Due to an illness, he is bound to the wheelchair. However, his favourite model was getting on in years and no suitable replacement was found. Thus, the only solution was to make his wheelchair safely drivable again - and this within one day.

The defective part was determined, the newly required parts were milled as a special production in our workshop. Then the titanium was welded with formation, which is no easy task.

Goal achieved. Within one day the wheelchair was repaired and safe and drivable again. And the owner's happy face was priceless.

Landrover V8 Total Overhaul

Engines are not our core competence, but after a round-the-world trip in a Land Rover, you acquire a lot of knowledge. That's why the customer came to us with this order. The V8 engine of his vehicle was completely overhauled. A not always very clean task, but all the more interesting for that. Dismantling, cleaning and overhauling were carried out completely in our workshop. After successful completion, the ignition of the Land Rover was tuned to the newly overhauled engine. Now the V8 purrs like a kitten again and is ready to face new adventures.

Not an everyday project, but a matter of the heart.

Trailer for Benno Bikes

Solution

A solution was needed for Benno Bikes Swiss GmbH to bring their bikes to their customers so they could see the quality on site.

The solution came in the form of an old trailer that was waiting for new life to be breathed into it. The frame was fitted with a steel cage that can be locked. The bicycles can thus be transported easily and safely. To make the cage waterproof, a canvas cover was made for it.

To ensure that not only the bicycles but also the transport looks good, the dimensions of the trailer were matched to the towing vehicle - because first impressions count.
